Why does my session expire when I navigate between Financials and HR/SA?
Some users are experiencing problems when attempting to go between PS Student/HR and PS Financials while in the same browser session. Users must close out the current browser session and open a new session or open a new browser session to go between the PS Student/HR and PS Financials systems. The reason for this seems to be that the Browser is trying to use the same cookie from the different systems and the browser becomes confused!
My signon page is beside my menu navigation...crazy things are happining! I need to delete my Cache, how do I do that?

I can't download to Excel. What could be wrong?
Some "Download to Excel" processes do no download amounts in a number format. What do I do?

 1. Download the data to a Saved Worksheet

 2. Insert a new column to the right of the column that contains the string      numeric data.

 3. Fill the new column with the formula =VALUE(cell to left, which contains      string numeric). Ex. =VALUE(A13)

 4. Use the new column for arithmetic operations.

My Excel Menu options are not working after I downloaded, what is the problem?

This problem originates when trying to utilize the "Download results in: Excel Spreadsheet" or the Excel download Icon after upgrading to Office 2003. When the User clicks the "download" button in the File Download dialog box, the Excel Menu bar at the top of the spreadsheet no longer works. This may be caused by a corrupted Excel menu bar file in the user's profile (path located below):

C:\Documents and Settings\<Username>\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel\Excelyy.xlb,

Where yy is 10 or 11. Closing Excel and deleting the file or files corrects the problem. Excel recreates the file if necessary. In some cases, it may be necessary to have the user log out and log back in.
