Graduate School Application Fee Policy

The Graduate School requires a $65 fee for each application filed. All fees must be paid online by credit card or electronic check when the application is submitted, and are non-refundable. Please note that applications are not processed until the application fee has been paid.

Applicants seeking admission to more than one graduate degree program must pay the fee for each program to which they apply. Applicants applying simultaneously to both a degree program and a certificate program within that degree program must pay only the $65 application fee for the graduate degree program, and the application fee for the certificate program will be waived.

It is the responsibility of the applicant to check with the department before filing an application to learn if the department is still accepting students for a given term. Application fees are non-refundable and will not be returned to applicants who are denied admission because a department is no longer accepting students for a given term, or who are not offered admission for any other reason.

Fulbright Scholars and participants in the McNair Program or the Institute for the Recruitment of Teachers (IRT) do NOT need to submit an application fee, and should select the appropriate option on the online fee payment page.
