Dr. Gören's research interests include optimization of treatment for severe mental illness and the impact of organizational factors on the delivery and quality of care for individuals with severe mental illness. She is currently focusing on organizational interventions to facilitate evidence based prescribing of antipsychotics. Other projects include improvement in metabolic monitoring for patients on atypical antipsychotics and optimization of medical monitoring for geriatric psychiatric patients.

 

 

 

THE PROGRAM

The Interdiciplinary Neurosciences Program (INP) offers a Master of Science (M.S.) degree, Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree, or a Certificate in the Neurosciences. The program provides broad instruction across several neuroscience disciplines and gives students an opportunity to focus on a specific area of specialization.
