Marco Polo Academy
A letter from the Xiamen University Center for Oceans Policy and Law:
Dear colleagues:
We are very pleased to inform you that a summer program named Marco
Polo Zheng He Academy is to be held again in Xiamen University,
China from June 29 to July 24, 2009. Please check the attached PDF
file for detailed information about the academy.
The program of this year offers four courses, i.e., International Law
of the Sea and The South China Sea, Law and Economics on Shipping
Logistic, Marine Environmental Law and Policy, East Asia and
International Law of the Sea. Students who take and pass the
examination after each of the courses, will be issued an official
certificate of credit by the Xiamen University Office of Graduate
Studies.
We believe this will be a good opportunity for students to know not
only the relevant legal matters, but also about China herself; and to
make good friends with similar interests from all over the world.
