Third Council of Presidents' Meeting
The 3rd Council of Presidents' Meeting (COP) of Global U8 Consortium was held at University of Rhode Island in USA between September 27 and 28, 2006. Member universities' Presidents or their equvalents attended the 3rd COP th include representatives from RMIT University(Austalia), Xiamen Univerity(China), University of Le Havre(France), University of Haifa(Israel), Inha Univerity(Korea), University of Rhode Island(USA) and University of Washington(USA).
COP have adopted the Newport Declaration as below.
