October 4 Director of the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine and urologist Anthony Atala on making new organs, now and in the future. At the request of the speaker this presentation will not be archived. However, it will be broadcast live.

October 25 Technologist James Bellingham, hurricane researcher Joseph Cione and roboticist Chris Roman - a panel discussion on the use of drones and robots to study the ocean, the atmosphere and their coupling.

Final Presentation: We are the Future

December 6 A presentation by the Honors Colloquium students on their envisioned future as informed by the 2011 Honors Colloquium course and lectures.

Join us at 7:00 p.m. for interactive presentations in the lobby. Have some pizza, coffee, tea and cookies while you chat about the future with the Honors Colloquium class students. At 7:30 p.m., we will move into the more formal presentations on the main stage. Hear about food, family and the future. Where will medicine be? Language? It will be an exciting evening and you will make the experience complete. Technology may be the catalyst but you inspire the students to share their visions and dreams.
