Student, Graduate, and Internal Payroll Processing
Departments are responsible for hiring their student, graduate assistant, and internal employees by entering their information directly into PeopleSoft. Learn what is needed to enter employee information into the system and how you know the appointment is approved.
At the end of each course, you should be able to enter job and I-9 information, create contracts, set up Web based time entry, verify and enter salary distribution information and know which appointments should be processed on an Internal Payroll(IP-1)form for all URI in house payroll
employees.

Time Reporting/Approval
Learn how to enter hours or approve time in Peoplesoft for the hourly employees that you supervise. In addition, learn the basics of running reports in Peoplesoft. Become familiar with the information available for tracking your employees and managing your departmental employee information.

Rehiring students got you down? Don't know how to do a data change or a pay rate change or maybe just need a refresher? This class will show you the ins and outs of how to efficiently navigate the system regarding the above actions.

Graduate Assistant Hiring Open Forum
There will be two open forum sessions designed to assist users with hiring of Graduate Assistants for the Academic Year. These are NOT training sessions. Users must already have security/authorization to hire Graduate Assistants.
Members from the Graduate Assistantship Committee of the Business Manager group will be on hand in the computer lab to help faciliate Graduate Assistant hiring into the e-Campus system.
Attendees are encouraged to bring hiring paperwork as you will be able to login into e-Campus in the lab and enter your Graduate Assistants.
Two sessions:
- Where: Ballentine 240
- When: Tuesday July 1 and Tuesday July 8 both days from 9am - 12pm
No appointments are necessary.
