URI Helping Haiti - $5 "Makes a Difference" Campaign

How you can help

A $5 donation from every URI student, faculty, and staff member will make a big difference for a fund to help Haiti rebuild. If each of us supports this initiative, with just the small donation of $5, we could raise as much as $100,000! Donations of any size will be applied directly to Haiti relief and rebuilding efforts through a reputable non-profit organization. You can donate cash, or checks made out to the URI Foundation noting "URI Helping Haiti 5060." Drop off your donation to the URI Foundation, 79 Upper College Road or in donation boxes at various locations around campus.

Because URI cares deeply about the world and its people, there are other efforts planned. Helping is a hallmark of our community. Many caring and compassionate individuals and groups at URI already are working to assist Haiti, but may not have the ability to coordinate and communicate about their efforts.

If you are planning fundraising activities or support for relief efforts in Haiti, please send us information about your involvement and events!
