Honors program
Designed to offer academically talented students special opportunities in the form of honors courses with small enrollments taught by distinguished faculty. Includes courses in analytical thinking,; a colloquium that brings distinguished authorities to campus from across the nation; special tutorials in major concentrations of study; and independent research projects under the guidance of a faculty member.
Study abroad
URI has exchange agreements with universities in many countries including Canada, a number of schools in Great Britain, France, Australia, Denmark, Germany, Korea, and Japan.
Office of Internships and Experiential Education
Internships available in hospital administration, public relations, marketing, human services, environmental agencies, the criminal justice system in RI, and selected out-of-state placements.
