Instructions on How to Use the Web Templates
Step 5 - Uploading your site to the web server
At this point, the site files you created should be visible in the Files panel (pictured below) under Local view.
- You may choose to upload the entire site or individual files. Multiple files can be selected by holding the Ctrl key (Control on a Mac) while clicking the filenames with a mouse.
- After you select your site or files, click the Put Files up arrow icon to upload. Confirm to" include dependent files".
- This process may take several minutes, depending on the number and size of the files being transferred. If this fails, it is normally because your site was not defined correctly or your username and password are not correct.
- Once the process completes, you can verify the existence of the files on the remote server by changing the Local view option to Remote view. You may click the Expand/Collapse icon to get a view of both your local files and files on the remote site.
- Enter your Web address in any browser to view and verify the new web pages.
Note: Your files on the remote site can also be downloaded to your local hard drive by switching to Remote View and then selecting the Get Files down arrow icon.
