Pre-Health Advising Schedule

 

For student who have yet to complete the courses indicated below, Dr. Andrew Mazurkie is available for advising at University College. Appointments may be made via e-Campus. 

  • BIO 101 and 102
  • CHM 101 and 112, with labs
  • MTH 131

Students who have successfully completed these courses should meet with Kathleen Maher in Lippitt Hall at one of the times below:

By Individual Appointment, sign up via e-Campus

Freshmen and Sophomore Group Open Advising

Walk-in, no pre-registration needed.

NOTE: To make a pre-health advising appointment via e-Campus go to the advisement page, and click on the far-right tab labeled "Pre-Professional/Honors."  Select "Pre-Medicine" and  

select the appropriate advisor (Dr. Mazurkie or Ms. Maher.)

Official MCAT Computer-based Practice Tests Available!

Thanks to a grant from the Champlin Foundation, these tests are available free-of-charge for those URI students applying to Medical School in 2010. The tests will be proctored in Lippitt Hall by appointment and on certain group dates to be announced soon.

By Appointment on Fridays, 11:30 to 3:30
