 Health Insurance Co-Share Costs

Your co-share for health coverage varies depending on your union and/or non-union status.
Employees in the unions listed below or in a non-union status pay a percent of premium:

Non-union Classified
Non-union Non-Classified
AAUP
PTAA
PSA
Maritime Professional Assn.
Physicians' Union

You pay a percentage of the premium for their medical, dental, and vision plan coverage based on the type of plan you select, and your annual salary.

Please note that the amounts listed below are calculated for employees who are on a biweekly 26 pay period salary schedule.
Because the co-share is based on the premium cost an employee who works a 20 pay period schedule (reduced year) will be billed for their co-share while out for the summer.

To minimize the financial impact to employees, in most cases, the health plan contributions will be made on a pre-tax basis.
