US Savings Bonds
You can enroll in payroll deducted US Savings Bonds by completing an application and returning the form to URI Employee Benefits, Human Resources, Room 21, 80 Lower College Road at the Kingston campus. To have a form sent to you call 874-9054. To learn more you can view the Savings Bond handout.
You can also purchase both EE and I US Savings Bonds electronically at face value directly through the internet at www.treasurydirect.gov
Each May1 and November 1 the interest is calculated for US Savings Bonds. These rates can be found at TreasuryDirect.gov web site here.
