basis for students in Special Programs for Talent Development (SPTD). Insure that TD students progress toward
graduation in a timely and systematic way.
Carry out major Talent Development admissions responsibilities assigned
by the Director. Required: Master's degree in college student personnel,
counseling, education or related field required. Minimum of two years' experience required,
one year of which is in academic advising at a college or university, and one

extension. Responsible for implementation of the protocols for animal husbandry
approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), and for
being a primary observer of animal health, cooperating with and contacting the
University Veterinarian for delivery of veterinary care services. Work cooperatively with the University
Veterinarian to assure that the animal husbandry plans and procedures are in
harmony with the established veterinary care plan for University
livestock. Bachelor's degree in animal
science or closely related field required; master's degree preferred. Must possess and maintain an American
Association for Laboratory Science or American Registry of Professional Animal
Scientists certification or the ability to be certified within one year of
employment to comply with USDA and University animal care regulations. The following are also required: ability to operate a tractor with front-loading
bucket; experience with domestic hoofed livestock; excellent interpersonal
