Clinical Assistant Professor, Community Pharmacy, AAUP (Cal Yr), (108120), Pharmacy. This is a calendar-year, non-tenure track appointment effective 7/1/09. Position is initially limited to 2-years, with continuation expected. Develop and maintain advanced professional practice experiences for pharmacy students in community pharmacy. Work closely with other departmental faculty and professional staff to support current and develop new and innovative clerkship sites in community pharmacy. Provide didactic instruction in required and elective courses, and perform collaborative scholarship.  Required:  A Pharm.D. degree in addition to a residency or the equivalent in experience; practitioner-level experience in community pharmacy. Salary Range:  $71,412-$91,624 (Full time/calendar year rate).  Responsible for establishing new and maintaining existing introductory (IPPE) and advanced (APPE) pharmacy practice clinical experiential sites of the College of Pharmacy, including required and elective offerings.  Develop and provide new preceptor training, provide ongoing development programs for existing preceptors, supervise registered pharmacist preceptors affiliated with the College of Pharmacy with regards to provision of experiential teaching and approve new experiential sites.
