Coordinator, Student Life/Disability Services for Students, PSA/NEA, (108701), Student Life. Salary Range:  $50,775-$63,557 (Full time/calendar year rate).  This is a continuing academic year position, beginning 08/16/09. Coordinate and deliver (with some supervision) campus services for students with disabilities.  Required:  Master's degree in counseling, psychology, college student personnel, or related fields; at least three years of experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in a higher education setting (experience may include a graduate assistantship); evidence of commitment to student success and self-advocacy; demonstrated experience with issues of disability (including learning disability) and accommodations; working knowledge of Federal Regulations 504 and Americans with Disabilities Act; working knowledge of college adaptive technologies; experience conducting training seminars or workshops.  Must possess strong interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and to organize, coordinate and supervise support staff.  Preferred:  Specific experience with Asperger Syndrome.  Submit (no emails or faxes, please) a resume and cover letter postmarked by 06-22-09 to: Pamela A. Staff Physician, Clinical Practice, URIP, (106917), Health Services.  Participate as a member of the health care delivery team that provides primary care services to patients, diagnoses and manages acute and chronic health problems, and contributes to health promotion and disease prevention efforts in partnership with the patient. Serve as a health care and wellness resource for the campus community, and, working in a collaborative environment, focus on educating the patient as well as on providing quality care.  Required: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) Degree; Rhode Island Medical Licensure prior to appointment; DEA License; Board Certification or eligibility in Primary Care Specialty that includes the care of young adults; two or more years of demonstrated post-residency experience in ambulatory primary care; qualification for credentialing and medical staff association at supporting hospital; strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work with diverse population; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with patients, staff, and community; computer literacy which includes comfort with email, word processing, mouse use, drop down lists, and keyboarding.
