Lecturer ( School of Education : GEMSNET Program), NUFAC, (107467), School of Education . This is a full-time position, limited to the '08- '09 academic year, with extension contingent on funding. Assistant Professor Research, NUFAC, (108278), Cancer Prevention Research Center.  This is a calendar year, non-tenure track, full-time position, limited to 5-31-09 with extension contingent on funding. Coordinate clinical research activities of a behavior change science research project conducted in a juvenile correctional facility; collaborate in dissemination and grant writing.  Primary responsibilities include supervising teatment providers in behavioral change research conducted in a juvenile correctional facility, specificaly: providing regular individual and group clinical supervision to treatment providers; training teatment providers int he delivery of manualized treatment protocols; coding treatment integrity and group treatment dynamics; and conducting inter-rater reliability checks of fidelity and diagnostic assessments.  Professional expectations include securing independent funding, developing a record of professional publications, presenting at professional meetings, and assisting in the administration of running various projects.  Required:  Earned doctorate in clinical psychology with completion of an APA-approved internship and a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship in juvenile forensics by time of appointment; expeirence with incarcerated juvenile forensic populations in the areas of clinical supervision, diagnostic assessments, and staff training; experience in providing and supervising individuals in Motivational Interviewing and other behavioral treatments; demonstrated ability to develop a record of professional publications and potential to attract external funding, as well as ability to present at professional meetings; excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.  Submit (no emails or faxes, please) a resume and cover letter postmarked by 06-20-08 to: Sara D. Hall Director, PTAA, (107406), Housing & Residential Life. Salary Range:  $30,376-$38,513 (salary will be pro-rated to reflect 10-month position). This is a full-time, live-in, ten-month position, with summer employment if available. Serve as chief administrative officer for residence hall(s) housing up to 650 students, on a 24-hour basis.  Develop and coordinate educational, cultural, social, and recreational programs with the objective of fostering student development and encouraging a sense of community within the living units.  Supervise and train student support staff; supervise/advise hall councils and assist with the advisement of the Residence Hall Association; establish and enforce policies and regulations as designated by the University, division, and department; assist with student adjudication; serve as liaison on issues of building maintenance and custodial services; perform various other administrative functions.  Master's degree required, preferably in student personnel or related field.  Two years of residential life experience required.  Full-time Live-in residency required for ten months, with summer employment if available.  Must possess the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, be able to interpret institutional policies, plans, objectives, rules, and regulations and to communicate the interpretation to subordinates and others.  Must possess strong human relations skills and the ability to deliver oral presentations before groups.  Must have  had experience working with diverse student populations.  Submit (no emails or faxes, please) a resume and cover letter postmarked by 07-08-08 to:  Charles T. Coordinator, COE/Minority Student Recruitment & Retention, PSA/NEA, (109986), Office of Dean, Engineering. Salary Range:  $36,702-$45,136 (Full time/calendar year rate).  This position is limited to 12/31/08 with extension contingent on funding. Under the direction of the Dean of Engineering, develop and enhance relationships with secondary school teachers and administrators in order to facilitate the recruitment and retention of highly qualified high school minority students in engineering as part of the University's attempt to increase minority student representation in the STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics).  Bachelor's degree in counseling or related field required. Research Associate I, PSA/NEA, (107703), Cooperative Extension Education Center.  Salary Range :  $36,702-$45,136 (salary will be pro-rated to reflect part-time hours).  This position is part-time 28 hours per week, and is limited to 6 months with extension contingent on funding.  Independently research, develop, plan and implement environmental horticultural and science educational programs for children.  Serve as principal investigator on grants involving environmental education.  Required:  Bachelor's degree in a life science; five years of experience in project management, including two years of experience researching and organizing environmental education programs for school children; experience working with Master Gardener volunteers, including docent recruitment, training and management; demonstrated ability to plan and implement complex projects and to communicate effectively orally and in writing; strong interpersonal skills; ability to organize, coordinate and supervise support staff.   Preferred:  Work experience in a higher education setting; familiarity and experience with Cooperative Extension.  Submit (no emails or faxes, please) a resume and cover letter postmarked by 06-20-08 to:  Marion S. Research Assistant II (Composting and Recycling), PTAA, (107702), Cooperative Extension Education Center. Salary Range:  $26,729-$33,577 (Full time/calendar year rate).  Position is limited to 6 months, with extension contingent on funding.  Assist in research of small-scale composting technologies suitable for use on individual house lots.  Under the Director, research, develop, plan and implement organic waste management programs, including training programs for volunteers, municipalities and the private sector.  Assist the Director and other staff in planning and implementing special events for the College of the Environment and Life Sciences to showcase college research and extension activities.
