Department of Housing and Residential Life is accepting requests from Local 528 staff members who wish to assist with traffic control for Move-In “2009” and other responsibilities as designated by the Housing and Residential Life and the Campus Police personnel on the following dates and times:

 

               Saturday, September 5, 2009…………...6:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

               Sunday, September 6, 2009......…………6:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

               Monday, September 7, 2009...…………..6:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

 

 

In addition, the Department of Housing and Residential Life needs 1 heavy motor equipment operator and 2 groundskeepers to assist during these same dates and times with dumpster trash removal and other responsibilities as designated by Housing and Residential Life and the Campus Police personnel.

Lecturer, (Cytotechnology), NUFAC, (109111), Cellular & Molecular Biology.  Position is limited to 08/31/10 with extension contingent on funding. Provide supervision, instruction and coordination of the students and instructional staff in the didactic and clinical components of the cytotechnology educational program.  Duties include the following: Lecture students on a regular basis by study block; organize and present multi-head microscopic sessions and kodachrome sessions; prepare and administer examinations; provide one-on-one instruction, as appropriate; coordinate off-site rotations for CT students; assume responsibilities of the Program Director in the absence of the latter.  Required:  Master's of Science degree and CT(ASCP) certification; four years of experience in Cytotechnology (after completing basic professional education), including one year of teaching experience; knowledge of methods and techniques in Cytotechnology; evidence of participation in continuing education in Cytotechnology; skills in coaching, teaching, mentoring, and problem solving; ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; ability to organize, coordinate, and supervise adjunct faculty; strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with diverse population. Senior Information Technologist, PTAA, (106763), Transportation Center.  Salary Range:  $50,898- $68,261 (Full time/calendar year rate).  Position is limited to 12/31/11 with extension contingent on funding.
