Associate Research Professor, NUFAC,
(107466), Environment & Life Sciences. Position is
part-time (21 hours per week) and is limited to six months with extension
contingent on funding. Conduct economic and community development extension and
outreach research on issues germane to the missions and programs of the College
of the Environment & Life Sciences.
Develop and maintain a focused extension research and outreach agenda
related to community and economic development aspects of CELS programs. Required:
Ph.D. in community planning or closely related field, and a demonstrated
working knowledge of economic and community development and governmental
structure and dynamics. Preference will be given to candidates with experience
at local, state and federal levels and with a successful record of publications

successful administration of the women's softball program, including teaching,
motivating, evaluating and recruiting qualified high caliber student-athletes. Required:
Bachelor's degree; experience coaching women's softball at the high school,
college or semi-professional level; proven leadership ability and
organizational skills in a softball program; excellent communication and
interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to teach, motivate, and
evaluate student-athletes; computer proficiency,
including ability to maintain recruiting and fundraising databases; willingness
to be involved in the local softball community; knowledge of NCAA rules and
regulations as they apply to recruitment and player eligibility. Preferred: Division I softball playing
experience; experience recruiting student-athletes; pitching background.
