BASIC FUNCTION: 


Teach courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels; advise students at the undergraduate and graduate levels; conduct research in the area of organic chemistry; participate in department and university committee assignments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ph.D. in chemistry or closely-related field required by time of appointment. Post-doctoral or industrial experience preferred. Demonstrated commitment to the effective teaching of organic chemistry at both the undergraduate and graduate levels required. Must demonstrate the likelihood to develop an externally-funded research program. The research area is open to any area of organic chemistry.
