Karen R. Houle, M.S., CCC-SLP

Karen Houle is a Clinical Assistant Professor in speech pathology who is located at the Eleanor Slater Hospital, Cranston, Rhode Island. Slater Hospital is part of the Department of Mental Health, Retardation and Hospitals (MHRH) in the state of Rhode Island. Ms. Houle earned her bachelor's degree at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and her Master of Science degree at Emerson University.

Ms. Houle is an ASHA certified and RI State licensed speech pathologist whose experience and expertise center around the adult population. She supervises students working with patients with neurological disorders, dysphagia difficulties, and voice disorders.

Graduate programs in Speech & Language Pathology and Audiology are accredited by the
Council on Academic Acreditation of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
