During March 2010, teachers from North Kingstown, RI and South Kingston, RI met in grade-a-like teams to look closely at the lessons within the Full Option Science System Kits (FOSS) and the Science and Technology for Children Kits (STC). Here is a list of suggestions for incorporating scaffolding ideas from Betsy Rupp-Fulwiler’s Writing in Science.
