      National Science Foundation LSC Grant.  Awarded  $1.4 million. 
Collaborates with four Co-PIs including soil scientist (Gorres, J.), biological oceanographer (Sullivan-Watts, B.) & geological oceanographer (Pockalny, R), and school assistant superintendent (Fitzsimmons, B).  Project works with 550 K-8 teachers in seven school districts and includes over 60 URI science mentors who work with teachers.

Awarded $ 20,000 to provide gender issues training for RI Teachers in Technology.
