Teacher candidates seeking an ESL certificate must also obtain the relevant general education certificate (e.g.; must obtain an Elementary Education certificate in order to attain an Elementary ESL certification).
The student must complete eighteen (18) semester hours of coursework to include work in each of the following content areas:
