1) Students are given urban placements as a part of their elementary practicum experience. Students are required to submit a journal entry each week.

1) Students are expected to complete a disability experience in which they spend four hours in a wheelchair, with a weight vest on, earplugs in their ears and a blindfold over their eyes. The students travel around campus buildings and out in the community then write a reflection paper answering how they felt and how they were treated by others.

2) Students are assigned a child with a disability to work with for the entire semester in KIN 410 lab. Each week students write a weekly evaluation on the progress of their athlete.
