1) Students are given urban placements as a part of their elementary practicum experience. KIN 315 Field Placement Notification Letter 1) Students are given urban placements as a part of their secondary practicum experience. Students are required to submit a journal entry each week. KIN 315 Weekly Journal Assignment 2) Students create and implement four lesson plans with additional opportunities to learn for students with special needs and/or unique learning needs. |
1) Students are expected to complete a disability experience in which they spend four hours in a wheelchair, with a weight vest on, earplugs in their ears and a blindfold over their eyes. The students travel around campus buildings and out in the community then write a reflection paper answering how they felt and how they were treated by others. Disability Experience Assignment 2) Students are assigned a child with a disability to work with for the entire semester in KIN 410 lab. Each week students write a weekly evaluation on the progress of their athlete. 3) Students are expected to create an assessment report (at the start of the lab experience). Assessment Report Instructions 4) Students are also expect to create individualized education plan (IEP) (at the end of the lab experience). |
