The Compeer Program Matches volunteers/interns with youth and adults receiving mental health services, to provide meaningful supportive friendships and/or rnentoring relationships while having fun and pursuing similar interests and hobbies that will enhance each person’s life. Kindness, gentleness, patience, and sensitivity to people receiving treatment for emotional illness or considered at risk are required.
The mission is to provide quality year-round school aged childcare to students in an educational, nurturing environment thus creating an atmosphere for learning for life. Activities include: literacy, math, arts and crafts, tutoring, 4-H, computers, indoor/outdoor activities, games and field trips.
Mac Coll YMCA has several before and after school programs servicing children ages 5-14. We also have two early learning centers for children ages 18 months to 6 years old.
Early Years Learning Center provides a high quality early childhood program where children will develop age-appropriate skills, which will prepare them for success in school. We have preschool, kindergarten and childcare programs for children ages 3-6.
Our mission is to provide affordable, culturally sensitive and high quality prevention, education, and treatment services which promote the wellness and recovery of persons affected by their own or significant other’s mental illness, addiction, trauma or other mental health or substance abuse condition. We serve individuals, families, children, adults and the elderly. This is a large multi-site organization taking field placements from most degree programs.
We are a childcare center dedicated to providing a warm, nurturing and educational experience to children ages 18 months to 10 years old. We have 1 toddler room, 4 preschool rooms, 1 behavior modification room, 1 kindergarten room, and 1 before and after-school program.
This agency provides low-income housing, as well as, services to residents such as: job training, homework/after school programs, computer training, and case management.

We are a high quality childcare child center that services children between the ages of six weeks and six years. We believe that child and their families are the most important part of any center or group experience. We enforced higher standards than are required by the state and provided lower child to teacher ratio than recommended to provide better care for children.
P/C Kids’ is a comprehensive childcare services network. We form partnerships with local childcare centers and offer "Head Start" like services to income eligible children within the site.
RIAEYC Internship Program, Fall 2009
The intern will assist RIAEYC in its mission to support professionals in their work by promoting quality education and the healthy development of children birth through eight. In doing so, the intern will assist on a wide range of projects, including the RIAEYC Early Childhood Conference, the Fall Membership Event, BrightStars, as well as aid in day-to-day operations and logistics.

RIAEYC seeks individuals with a strong commitment to helping to promote high quality early childhood education and care. Intern must be detail-oriented with the ability to work on several tasks concurrently. Ideal candidates should possess strong communications and written skills, as well as the ability to work in a team environment.
