September 17th at 7pm - Meet the HSS Deans for coffee hour. Not many first year students can say they know their Dean. You can!
September 29th - October 5th - Diversity Week sessions offered by HSS faculty! (See list)
October 5th at 7pm - Meet HSS faculty. Learn about HSS majors. Enjoy some ice cream!
October 27th at 7:30pm Come chat with Dr. Disa Hatfield, an HSS professor who is also a world-ranked female power lifter! Faculty in HSS dont just teach & grade!
November (Date TBA) What can I do with this degree? Meet with Career Services experts to start building a rockin' resume!
December (Date TBA) 'Let it Snow' Build-a-Sundae Social
February (Date TBA) HSS Faculty Highlight: Meet a Sex Therapist

Ongoing Events
Major Specific Events - Each of the majors in HSS will host specific events for their students! Keep an eye out for events such as the first meeting of the Human Development and Family Studies club, the info session for prospective Education majors, etc.
Floor and Building Events - Your RAs and RAM will also let you know about fantastic weekly and monthly events. Get to know your RA and HSS Resident Academic Mentor (RAM) (Emily Carlone). They are incredibly helpful resources!
We are open to planning events that you are interested in. So, let us know what kinds of programs you would like to see and we will do our best to make them happen!
