Welcome to the Department of  Textiles, Fashion Merchandising and Design. The Department faculty are dedicated  to preparing students to enter the textile and apparel field as well-qualified professionals, to creating and interpreting knowledge, and to serving the profession.
 

 

 

The 2009 Spring Splash Fashion Show and Fund Raiser will be Saturday April 25th. Reception 5-6pm at URI's UClub, followed by dinner. Show and Awards at the Memorial Union Ballroom 8-9:30.  
$125 per person.  Get together and get a table for $1000!

Now into its third year!  A post-baccalaureate Certificate in Fashion Merchandising

Dr. Margaret Ordonez will be offering a Textile Conservation Workshop June 8-19 2009.  Contact her for more details.
