Welcome to the URI Healthcare Utilization Management Center. The HUMC provides consultant pharmacy benefit management services to a variety of clients in the healthcare marketplace.

The program focuses the clinical and analytic skills of pharmacy benefit management industry professionals, academic researchers, upper-level Doctor of Pharmacy and pharmacist graduate students on issues encountered in many healthcare settings. The HUMC’s clients include managed care organizations (MCOs), pharmacy benefit management companies (PBMs), internet healthcare information providers, and government agencies.
