IEP Advisory Board

The Advisory Board of the International Engineering Program provides independent advice to the Executive Director, the Program, and the University concerning the quality and effectiveness with which the International Engineering Program is meeting the needs of its students, faculty, administrators and corporate partners.  The Advisory Board offers indispensable advice on expanding and strengthening the Program's academic mission and offers the Program expert advice in fiscal, organizational, and programmatic matters to assist the Executive Director in ensuring that the IEP remains innovative and responsive to the needs of its students and partners in the rapidly evolving global workplace.

Without the Board's vital advisory role and support, the promise of the International Engineering Program to match the needs of business and industry with the best minds of the University might have remained just that.

The International Engineering Program is a dual-degree program combining a B.A. in German, French and/or Spanish with a B.S. in one of the engineering disciplines.  IEP students study language and culture each semester along with their engineering curriculum. In the fourth year of the five-year program, they then go abroad as interns with engineering based firms in Europe or Latin America, and also as exchange students with one of our partner universities
