 Dr. Holger Schlüter
is the Director of Laser Production and Development for TRUMPF
Inc., Farmington, CT, the world leader in industrial lasers and the
Director of Technology for TRUMPF Photonics, a newly found
manufacturer of High Power Diode Laser Sources near Princeton, NJ.
Recently Dr. Schlüter has set up the new American development
facility of the German TRUMPF group (total revenues approx. 1 bn
US-$). Dr. Schlüter has been working in the field of high power
lasers for industrial applications since 1993, when he joined the
team of the Fraunhofer Institut for Lasertechnology in Aachen,
Germany. He started working for the TRUMPF group as a Laser
Development Engineer in 1996 and moved to the United States in 2000.
He lives with his family in West Hartford, CT.
