Rick Vaz is
Associate Dean of Interdisciplinary and Global Studies at WPI, where
over 70% of all undergraduate students complete at least one of
their three degree-required projects at project sites throughout the
world. He is also Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer
Engineering, and serves as WPI's liaison to AAC&U's Greater
Expectations Leadership Consortium. His interests include learning
outcomes assessment, higher education reform, the
internationalization of engineering education, and academic service
learning. He has advised undergraduate student projects in England,
Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, the British Virgin Islands,
Morocco, and Thailand.
