Eva-Angela Adan

Eva-Angela Adan has extensive experience in international education and is fluent in English, Spanish, and French. She is currently an International Education Consultant whose projects include development and delivery of international education seminars/training, foreign academic credential evaluation/fraud detection and investigation, and drafting in Spanish of on-line training material in quality assurance. From 1997 - 2002, she served as Director of International Activities for the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) in Baltimore, MD, where she wrote and implemented policies/ procedures for ABET international activities, including the Understanding between ABET and countries in Asia, Europe and Latin America.

The International Engineering Program is a dual-degree program combining a B.A. in German, French and/or Spanish with a B.S. in one of the engineering disciplines.  IEP students study language and culture each semester along with their engineering curriculum. In the fourth year of the five-year program, they then go abroad as interns with engineering based firms in Europe or Latin America, and also as exchange students with one of our partner universities
