Gloria
Olson is a Texas Instruments vice president and worldwide
manager of Human Resources for TI’s Sensors & Controls business.
Based in Attleboro, Massachusetts, Sensors & Controls has sales
offices worldwide and technology and manufacturing centers in nine
locations in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
As Human Resource manager, Ms. Olson oversees a
diverse, global workforce that researches, designs and manufactures
custom-engineered sensors, controls and radio frequency devices for
leading manufacturers and system integrators the world over.
Prior to her current position, Ms. Olson
managed Worldwide Training and Organizational Effectiveness for TI
and was an internal consultant on the integration of acquisitions.
She has also held a number of positions as a Human Resources
generalist and program and project manager for TI’s defense and
semiconductor businesses.
Ms. Olson joined TI in 1984 as a manufacturing
engineer. She graduated with a B.S. in education from the University
of North Dakota and has Master’s degrees in education and
organizational development from the University of North Texas and
Pepperdine University, respectively.
She and her husband live in East Greenwich, RI.
