October, with its typically bright blue skies and brilliant foliage, is arguably Rhode Island's most beautiful month. And our conference is just minutes from beautiful Narragansett Bay, with easy access to historic Providence and Newport, where you can board a gondola or charter an America's Cup winning yacht. Though we expect you to be an active participant in our  sessions, we will do our best to help you enjoy Rhode Island before and after the conference. We are arranging a special van tour of some of Rhode Island's most beautiful spots on Sunday morning, and we will also plan for some night life in Providence Friday evening.

    Stay tuned for details!

The International Engineering Program is a dual-degree program combining a B.A. in German, French and/or Spanish with a B.S. in one of the engineering disciplines.  IEP students study language and culture each semester along with their engineering curriculum. In the fourth year of the five-year program, they then go abroad as interns with engineering based firms in Europe or Latin America, and also as exchange students with one of our partner universities
