Yvonne Rudman is the Director for Academic & Technical Programs
in the Office of International Programs at Montana State
University and the Project Director for MSU’s U.S. Department of
Education, Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE)
grant: “US Arabic Distance Learning Network.” She has managed
the MSU distance education Arabic language program for the past
six years. In her role as Project Director she has served as the
primary liaison for those involved in the three vital areas of
the program: (1) academic: students, teaching assistants,
faculty, and foreign partners for study abroad, (2) technology:
technicians and policy makers, and (3) administrative:
university officers, program coordinators, and fiscal managers.
She also works closely with the Network’s Advisory Council and
external evaluators. This year she will be focusing her energies
on recruiting new university members to expand the program from
its current seven members to twenty-five universities across the
nation. Ms. Rudman also has extensive experience in managing a
wide range of grant-funded, internationally-based projects in
agriculture, education reform, environmental public health, and
business development. She has managed MSU’s study abroad
exchange programs with over 40 institutions in approximately 20
nations. Ms. Rudman has an undergraduate degree in economics and
a masters degree in public administration.
