  Laurie Burger  
 

Laurie Burger, Pentair Electronic Packaging

Laurie Burger is the Director of Business Development for Pentair Electronic Packaging/Schroff in Warwick, RI. Her responsibilities include product management and OEM business development for systems packaging including chassis, backplanes, and thermal management. Laurie has been with Pentair/Schroff since 1994, working closely with the Schroff GMBH on new product development. Her background includes extensive global experience in product marketing and product development with companies such as Analog Devices, Chesebrough Ponds, and Texas Instruments. Laurie has a BSEE and MSEE from the University of Rhode Island, and holds numerous design patents for medical electronics and robotics.

The International Engineering Program is a dual-degree program combining a B.A. in German, French and/or Spanish with a B.S. in one of the engineering disciplines.  IEP students study language and culture each semester along with their engineering curriculum. In the fourth year of the five-year program, they then go abroad as interns with engineering based firms in Europe or Latin America, and also as exchange students with one of our partner universities
