  Mary Kordys  
 

Mary joined Siemens in July of 2000 shortly after completing her Master’s Degree in Human Resources at Rollins College. After spending five years with Siemens Power Generation as Program Manager for University Relations, Mary accepted a strategic role in 2006 with Siemens Corporation. She is now responsible for developing and driving a comprehensive University Relations and recruiting strategy for all U.S. based operating companies to ensure Siemens is an employer of choice in the higher education market among the target market of undergraduate, graduate, co-op and intern students, professors, university leaders and the community at large.

In addition to a BS Degree in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University, Mary has also attained the “PHR” designation, which is a professional certification in human resources. Mary is active in many professional organizations including the SHRM - Society for Human Resource Management; NACE - National Association of Colleges & Employers; and INROADS (a student diversity program). She is the former President of MEPIAC—Minority Engineering Program Industry Advisory Committee—sponsored through the University of Central Florida.

The International Engineering Program is a dual-degree program combining a B.A. in German, French and/or Spanish with a B.S. in one of the engineering disciplines.  IEP students study language and culture each semester along with their engineering curriculum. In the fourth year of the five-year program, they then go abroad as interns with engineering based firms in Europe or Latin America, and also as exchange students with one of our partner universities
