  Richard Weisman  
 

Richard Weisman is a Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Lehigh University, specializing in hydrology and water resources engineering. He has been traveling abroad with students through several programs at Lehigh. For the past 7 years, he has taught a winter term course on sustainable development in Costa Rica. This past year, he went
to Honduras with Lehigh's chapter of Engineers Without Borders-USA.

The International Engineering Program is a dual-degree program combining a B.A. in German, French and/or Spanish with a B.S. in one of the engineering disciplines.  IEP students study language and culture each semester along with their engineering curriculum. In the fourth year of the five-year program, they then go abroad as interns with engineering based firms in Europe or Latin America, and also as exchange students with one of our partner universities
