  Zenaida Gephardt  
 

Zenaida Otero Gephardt is Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at Rowan University where she has served as Assistant Dean and Director of Engineering. She is a registered Professional Engineer in Delaware and holds PhD and MChE degrees from the University of Delaware. Her research interests are in the areas of engineering data analysis, experimental design and process optimization, and supercritical fluid extraction.

She teaches Process Fluids Transport and Process Dynamics and Control as well as data analysis and experimental design electives. Gephardt is a native of Cuba.

The International Engineering Program is a dual-degree program combining a B.A. in German, French and/or Spanish with a B.S. in one of the engineering disciplines.  IEP students study language and culture each semester along with their engineering curriculum. In the fourth year of the five-year program, they then go abroad as interns with engineering based firms in Europe or Latin America, and also as exchange students with one of our partner universities
