This year's meeting will be held on November 2-5, 2006 at the Hotel Viking in historic Newport, Rhode Island.

The colloquium has arranged for a special conference rate of $139/night at the hotel, which you must request when making your reservations. To reserve your room call the hotel directly at 800-556-7126.  To ensure that you receive the conference rate, be sure to mention that you are part of the "Colloquium on International Engineering." 

Please note that the deadline to be guaranteed the conference rate is September 29th.

Ground Transportation:  Shuttle service from T. F. Green Airport is availible via Cozy Transportation Services.  For reservations call 800-846-1502.  From the Amtrak Station in Kingston, take RIPTA Bus 64.

The International Engineering Program is a dual-degree program combining a B.A. in German, French and/or Spanish with a B.S. in one of the engineering disciplines.  IEP students study language and culture each semester along with their engineering curriculum. In the fourth year of the five-year program, they then go abroad as interns with engineering based firms in Europe or Latin America, and also as exchange students with one of our partner universities
