Kevin Huggins
 

Kevin Huggins

Kevin Huggins is an Academy Professor of Computer Science in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the US Military Academy at West Point, New York. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the École de Mines de Paris in 2005 and is a member of both the Association of Computing Machinery and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.

His research interest includes applications of CORBA to software defined radios, educational assessment processes and international engineering education.

Kevin is currently serving a year as a research fellow at the École National Supérieure de Techniques Avancées in Paris, France.

The International Engineering Program is a dual-degree program combining a B.A. in German, French and/or Spanish with a B.S. in one of the engineering disciplines.  IEP students study language and culture each semester along with their engineering curriculum. In the fourth year of the five-year program, they then go abroad as interns with engineering based firms in Europe or Latin America, and also as exchange students with one of our partner universities
