Cornelia Marin, Director for International Relations, UTC, France

Cornelia Marin studied French and German law at the University of Paris I - Panthéon-Sorbonne (Maîtrise en droit, 1997), France, and at the University of Cologne, Germany, where she obtained her first State examination (Erstes Juristisches Staatsexamen, 1999). After a specialization in International Management at the Graduate Business School IAE Paris I - Panthéon-Sorbonne (2000), she obtained her German law license with a specialization in economic law (Zweites Juristisches Staatsexamen) in 2002 at the Court of Stuttgart/Baden Württemberg, Germany.

After a first professional experience as a legal counsel at the Chamber of Commerce of Ulm in Germany, she worked as an independent consultant in strategy for German small and medium sized companies approaching the French market from 2004 on. She was also invited lecturer for German Law at the University Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne) and at Paris Dauphine University.

In 2007, Cornelia Marin first joined the European office at the Tech transfer division of University of Technology of Compiegne in France. In 2009, she moved to the International Relations as responsible “Research and Networks” and became the local coordinator for the European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU) for the university. Since September 2011, Cornelia Marin is Director for International Relations. In 2012 she is elected President of the association “Study in Picardy” promoting the internationalization of Higher Education institutions of the region Picardy. Her current teaching assignments at UTCs doctoral school relate to “European project writing and management” and “International mobility of PhD students”.

Cornelia Marin is a German native speaker, but also speaks French, English, Russian, and Spanish fluently.
