Dr. Nina Polok serves as the Program Executive for the Bachelor of Innovation at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Under Nina's leadership, the Bachelor of Innovation family of degrees has become internationally known for its unique multidisciplinary framework. Students from across the country are currently pursuing BI degrees in the Colleges of Engineering and Applied Science, Business, and Letters, Arts and Sciences. Nina's career has been a balance of academia and the private sector. Her private sector experience spans the spectrum, from small business where innovation can mean survival, to several high technology firms where innovation is paramount. She has traveled around the world for multinational corporations, consulting on leadership and innovation. Nina designs, teaches, and evaluates courses in entrepreneurship and innovation in the BI program. She loves making academic knowledge relevant by showing how it applies in a variety of organizations. Nina holds a BS degree in Aerospace Engineering, an MBA in Information Systems, and a PhD in Strategy, Organization, and Management with emphasis in Organization Change and Development.
