After completing her studies in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources Management, Sehnaz Özden began her career in 1998 in the HR department of Bosch-Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH in Istanbul, where she worked as assistant to the commercial board and helped expand the recruiting department for Turkey. This was followed by further positions in the University Recruiting division at Accenture and at Ernst & Young in Frankfurt, where she was responsible for Germany-wide university marketing. Since January 2007, Sehnaz Özden has managed and defined the strategic course of global corporation-wide employer branding & recruiting at Continental AG in Hanover, Germany.
During her studies, Sehnaz Özden was actively involved in the student organization AIESEC and, amongst other roles, she was chair of a local German committee. Between the years 2005 and 2007, she was honorary chair of the German Alumni Organization of AIESEC (AAG e.V.), and has spoken on employer branding and recruiting at a variety of HR congresses both in Germany and abroad.
