Brenda Cox is Manager for International and Advanced Procurement, responsible for strategy and international procurement activities within North America at BMW Manufacturing Corporation in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Her team is responsible for benchmarking innovations, small business development, service parts, accessories, special projects and support to BMW MC's manufacturing lines. She has been with BMW since 1993, among the first to join BMW's new facility in North America.

Ms. Cox began her career in research and development in materials engineering followed by positions in engineering, quality, supplier development and manufacturing in the electronics industry. Prior to her current position, Ms. Cox was a Quality Manager at Robert Bosch Corporation in South Carolina.

She is a member of Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), American Society for Quality (ASO) and past regional Chairperson for American Society for Materials. She is a certified Quality Auditor and Lead Auditor for ISO 9000. She received her Bachelor's of Science degree in 1978 followed by postgraduate work in materials engineering.
