The Heidi Kirk Duffy Center for International Engineering Education is a two-facility living-learning community. We offer buffet-style meals for residents, URI faculty, IEP students, and visitors. The dining room often serves as a meeting place for members and affiliates of the program, from undergraduate students to foreign industry leaders.

To find the dining hall, just take the staircase down to the lower level of the Texas Instruments House. If you are a non-resident or a visitor, please pay the lunch monitor before eating.
Meal cards are available for purchase in the Housing Office at IEP House or from the lunch monitor in the dining room. Meal cards are "buy 10, get one free," so a $70 lunch card buys 11 lunches. Call 401.874.4283 for details or stop by the office.
Please note that advance notice is required for external parties of five or more.

"The IEP House has the good fortune of employing a chef with not only good cooking skills, but also a pedagogical dedication of his own. Knowing that the students will encounter different foods abroad, and that their career goals will bring them into contact with a multicultural kitchen and dining experiences with high behavioral expectations, he eagerly prepares and serves meals that many have not encountered before. Thus, when the students are abroad or in a corporate board room, red cabbage, Sauerbraten, canard á l'orange, poached salmon, and West African peanut soup will not take them fully by surprise. When the chef asked for special requests from the students this past semester, ironically there was a plea for steamed hot dogs and macaroni and cheese!"
