Norbert Hedderich

Norbert Hedderich is a professor of German at the University of Rhode Island. He teaches all
levels of undergraduate German courses, including courses on language variation
in German and Business German. He is chair of the German section, and director
of the
Deutsche
Sommerschule am Atlantik, the University of Rhode Island's annual
summer immersion program for German language and culture.
His scholarly
interests include language teaching methodology, the German language, teaching
language for special purposes, teaching language with technology, and
intercultural communication. He has published articles in
