Renée Trombley  is currently doing an internship in France at IFREMER, an oceanographic research lab near La Rochelle on the Atlantic coast. As part of the internship, Renée registered for FRN 315, our internship course. To get the credit for this course, she is writing regular reports on her activities in France.

The International Engineering Program is a dual-degree program combining a B.A. in German, French and/or Spanish with a B.S. in one of the engineering disciplines.  IEP students study language and culture each semester along with their engineering curriculum. In the fourth year of the five-year program, they then go abroad as interns with engineering based firms in Europe or Latin America, and also as exchange students with one of our partner universities
