Dr. Tobias Lührig was one of the very first Braunschweig exchange students to earn the URI MBA ('99). Upon returning to Germany, he secured a position with McKinsey & Company in Berlin, which took him to many interesting locations and challenges throughout the world. After completing his doctorate at the Technical University of Darmstadt in 2005, Tobias joined Pierburg GmbH a major supplier to the automotive industry, as Director of Quality and Processes, and was recently promoted to be Director of Development and Strategy for Pierburg's parent and holding company, Kolbenschmidt Pierburg AG. We congratulate "Toby" on his achievements; it is great to have one of our exchange alums now on our Board!
