Dr. Tobias Lührig

Dr. Tobias Lührig was one of the very first Braunschweig exchange students to earn the URI MBA ('99). Upon returning to Germany, he secured a position with McKinsey & Company in Berlin, which took him to many interesting locations and challenges throughout the world. After completing his doctorate at the Technical University of Darmstadt in 2005, Tobias joined Pierburg GmbH a major supplier to the automotive industry, as Director of Quality and Processes, and was promoted to be Director of Strategy for Pierburg's holding company, KSPG AG. In 2012 Tobias became CEO of Beinbauer Automotive a supplier for drive train components in the Passau area.
